Need A Domain Name Competition

In conjunction with the 50th Merdeka celebration, I would like to give away Not 1 But 5 domain names to those readers that give the best comment about ‘Why Do I Need A Domain Name?’. Basically, this is a way to create the fun and excitement between Malaysian bloggers. The duration of this competition will start from 27 August until 4 September. I hope all my visitors especially the bloggers will take this opportunity to win a domain name for your beloved blog.

Rules and Regulation

1. You can post as many comments as you want, but each person will only win one domain name.
2. You have to give a comment on ‘Why Do I Need A Domain Name?’ in less than 30 words.
3. Participants can comment either in English or Malay languange, Mandarin also applicable since I can understand the language.
4. Each commentators must have a blog such as blogger and wordpress.
5. For those that using the blogspot, it is much easier for you. But, for those that using the worpdress, make sure you own a hosting.
6. All participants must agree to join Namecheap.com as I will push the domain name to you if you win so.
7. You can choose any type of domain name that you prefer, but make sure it is still available in the net.
8. You can choose only these type of TLD’s, such as Dot Com, Dot Net and Dot Info. Other than that not applicable. All prize worth Rm 150.00..sape nak kasi bai..
9. Only comments that appeared in ‘Need A Domain Name Competition‘ will be reviewed.
10. The winner will be announced on 6 of September, any type of bodek-bodek will not be entertained.

Advertlets - Rumpun 2007

I’m thinking on doing a competition. Since some of the bloggers or wordpress owner still don’t have their own domain, I would like to give away free 5 domains to those that give the best comment on ‘Why Do I Need A Domain?’. The best 5 commentators will get each of them a domain name. You can choose either dot com or dot net. So, if there are a lot of feedback, maybe I’ll increase it to 10?..Maybe on this Monday??

Today was the day where the Rumpun 2007 event took its place. An event that fully sponsored by Advertlets in which to gather all the Malay bloggers in one place. The venue was at Restaurant Pelita Nasi Kandar and the event supposely start at 5.00pm.

Both of us, Yus and I went to the venue and arrived there at 5.10pm. Impressively, most of the top bloggers already arrived earlier and the first person that I met was Bat InfoMalaya. Surprisingly, he recognized me after I introduce my blog address..haha..then..they should callled me Hafreze,but plus a dot com at the end of my name.

The session start around 5.30pm and was conducted by a pretty lady..call??..hurmm..

So, the first session, we were acquired to introduce ourselves as well as the blog that we owned, kind of ice breaking session. She appointed me as the first person to start the ‘Introduction Session’, a little bit shock and I managed to end my part smoothly.

So, most of the blogger here were blogging about their personal, such as a father who’s blogging about his son.

After a few minutes of the ice breaking session, Josh Lim asked me to pass around the Advertlets button tag, as a souvenir.

What a surprise, Yus and I thought that we’re the only MMUians that came for this event, and when we arrived there, we saw the developer of Al-quran for PSP was also came for the event, Nazri aka Tekong. At first, Yus and I was quite shy too hang around with others, since our Nazri was so active promoting his software, therefore the nervous slowly come down and I quickly can get around with the other bloggers.

By the way, the organizer, MohdIsmail was coming late since they said that his bas was broke down. So, we wait patiently until he came and start to take our dine. While we take our Hi-Tea, Yus, Nazri and I were sat together and we likely to chat with other bloggers. One of the blogger that I chat with was IcedNyior. She was from Lim Kok Wing and very friendly.

Yet, Nazri still promoting his software, and this thing had attract the Advertlets’ CEO to chat with him. Most importantly, last time Nazri was doing his internship at Advertlets, no wonder the Boss was very friendly with him.

After our eating-eating time, the organizer MohdIsmail release his latest project on PC Malaya. A website in which a replacement to LowYatt type, but with more function and user-friendly. One thing that I really surprised was, one of their technical staff was 15 years old. Hey dude, you are so great, at age 15, I still don’t know about HTML ok!!

After the PC Malaya launched, then all of us take a picture and smile!! At that time, I felt like I was a celebrity, lots of flashing lights till my eyes got blur-blur.

Then, all of us had a Q&A section, one thing I regret that they supposed to use the microphone, because I can’t hear clearly the words from the Boss. I’m very looking forward on this advertising network because right now I was doing a project paper on this topic. Actually, I want to develop a more powerful blog advertising as my final year project. So pity for me, yet I still can get a picture with the Boss.

Finally, we made our move and going back to Cyber. Both of us happy as we get to know a lot of friends, gain some knowledge, get a picture with the Boss, as well as met akak cun..hahaha

Children Of Bodom - Downfall Cover Song

Yeah, I’m quite busy today. Just now, our group of Malaysian Studies had to perform a drama in the class. The drama was about the founding of Melaka. My character was to be the Parameswara, and I’ve a dog!!

Quite impressive! The lecturer and students like our acting. Supposely, our special actor, the dog was the main attraction. He really indeed in doing his job, and we proud on him. By the way, there’s a lot of laughter, we like to do this drama in the sense of humor, and it’s a huge success for us.

At night, I went to jamming studio at Seri Kembangan. All of us, actually 5 of us, but my first guitarist had an emergency, so he can’t proceed to the jamming studio as well. We enjoyed our practise time so much, played some children of bodom’s song, cradle of filth and others. Most common playlist were downfall, everytime I die, hate me, nymphetamine, hallowed by thy name, in your face and more.

Actually, I had recorded the final song (Downfall by Children of Bodom) before our jamming session finished. I recorded it without giving any notice to my bandmate, so basically, there will be some mistakes and technical problem, cannot be compared to the original song. This song was played by 4 of us, so judge by yourselves. I don’t guarantee on any ears defective after listening to this song. Song after this jump, thank you and comment please!!!!

Malaysia International Fireworks Competition

Last Monday, my lecturer was examining my Canon Digital Ixus I, I can’t stop laughing at her because she took her picture by herself, which were so cute!!

Yesterday was the busiest day for me, I had 2 midterm examination, had my rehearsal for drama and I hadn’t had any sleep since Tuesday, what a tiring week.

After all, the lack of time cannot stop me from watching the Malaysia International Fireworks Competition. Last night was the third round of the blasting fireworks program and it’s been performed by Australian team.

At 9.30 pm, I drive to Putrajaya Convention Center (PICC) and couldn’t believe that the traffic was packed by cars, and people also.

At 10.00 pm, the first shot of firework was released and the excitement begin. Boom…boom..bang..kecepek..and all kinds of sound filling the air. But, really unfortunate things happen at me, because a small girl was crying from the start of excitement until the end. She’s crying, ‘mama..mama, I want go back..I want go back’. Haish, I?…ignore the crying voice and enjoyed the arts of fireworks.

Why Do People Keep Smoking?

Notice :First, don’t ever-ever laugh when I give an entry about smoking. For those who may concern, keep your mouth shut.

So, did you believe that? Quitting smoking will reduce all the chances of bad effects. But. I still don’t understand, some people still ignoring some simple message, such as ‘Amaran Kerajaan Malaysia - Merokok Membahayakan Kesihatan’. In conjunction with my campaign of quitting smoking, I would like to share some story of why people start to smoke, and brainwash them. This is also as an earlier notice, that Ramadhan will coming soon.

1. Smoking is a modern lifestyle

My answer, Wrong! Smoking is not a lifestyle and it doesn’t give you any cool look. Apparently, most girl was found out that they hate a smoker’s boyfriend.

2. Ok, but smoke cigars is a trend maaa

Ok, I do agree with you. Some high profile entrepreneurs use the cigars to show their reputation, richness and power. But, you have to think wisely, the bigger the cigars you smoke, the higher the chances to get any cancer..Like these two people above..so big arrr…

3. Smoking can get hot chicks..

Puiii…! By smoking, the possibility to get any hot chicks or decent girls would turn to 0.1%, instead you’ll end up by having a school girl as your fan.hahaha (Adeh, mesti kene sepak ngan Lah)

4. So, that one cannot, this one cannot, how can I control my desire on smoking?

In order to control your habit on smoking, first, don’t ever try to buy any packs of dunhill. Instead, you can try another brand of cigarette that contain lesser nicotine. The process of controlling your desire had to be done step-by-step. Example, today only smoke 4 sticks, tomorrow 2 sticks and go on..

Furthermore, you can ask some other friends to smoke for you. Like this lady above, she willingly to use a doll for a smoking demo to Dr. Fadzley. If you really getting serious to stop smoking, you can donate all your available packs to me…hahaha..and one more, no refund.
