Last week, I went to the biggest event conducted by University Peer Group (UPG), Voices in conjunction with clickachild charity event. They were inviting some popular underground bands such as OAG, Meet Uncle Hussien, Bittersweet, Hujan, Yuna, and more. Of course, you could get the idea on the size of the crowd, approximately 4000+ youngsters filling every spaces in MMU grandhall.

As I am very fancy with underground bands, but since then I am not aware on Yuna. Once she step on the stage, her voice instantly capture my heart with her song, After Midnight. Her voice made myself freezing for a while, it keeps remind me at Norah Jones. While Norah Jones more on country genre, which is not very suited me. In fact, Yuna was great at choosing other genre that suit with my taste, playing her acoustic guitar with her sexy voice.

Yet, she need to improve on her showmanship, keep communicating with the audience, since I’m noticing that she seldom talk to us, I felt a little bit dull. After all, her beautiful songs cover up most of the weaknesses, and I’m stunned to her voice for a while.

She has a full package as a talented singer, with her pretty face and voice, I think she can go further. In fact, I am looking forward to her next performance.

Since the first day I listened the songs from this band Melon King, I was fall in love with them. I never thought that our Malaysian people do have the capabilities to arrange such a beautiful song. Until I found out about this band, from my friend. Although they were already being disband, the playmaker, Aman was still actively in composing the songs for Symphonia Melonia and Orion. Truly, their music do have influence from Malmsteen. If you don’t know about Malmsteen, better kill yourselves now! haha.. Before this, I was addicted to Children Of Bodom and Dream Theater. Both of them have their own identity on music, and basically consist of really talented people in music. I’m not really knowledgeable in music, but what I can said that Melon King or Symphonia Melonia do really done a great job on composing the songs

It is very hard to find their album. After 5 months when the first time I heard about them, I’m succeeded to hear the MP3 version . Unfortunately, I’m not able to download the songs since it is uploaded at Imeem. Thanks to the guy!

I love to listen to Pentas Dunia, Darah Debu and Langit Ketujuh. After all, if you are someone that really into metal, I recommending you to listen to their album. Playlist after this jump.

I’m having a lot of instruments, such as guitars, bass, percussion, drum set and amplifier. The problem is, I have very limited space to store all my instruments. Since I’m really into in music, I don’t want to put the instruments outside of my room. I’m really taking a good care of them, they does take a lot of money as well.

Periodically, I have to move all my instruments at my friend’s house. As sometime my house is having an event, the instruments will make my house look crowded. Not only that, the possibility for my drum skin to tear up also is high since we just move it without any covers.

Right now, I’m looking forward to find the best storage solutions for my musical instruments. The storage would be equipped with wheels, can accommodate the size of amplifier, and high durability for long period of storage.

It’s been quite a long time I’m not posting about my music life with the blog readers. I love playing any kind of instruments such as guitars, keyboard, drums and flute. But my best playing is at bass guitar, don’t ever think that I’m playing the single note of chords! Just take some example of Flea from Red Hot Chili Pepper, Cliff Burton from Metallica and John Myung from Dream Theater.

The last time I uploaded myself playing the guitar was the song on ‘To Zanarkand’. That song is the main theme song in Final Fantasy XII, quite a hard-to-play song. You can see myself playing the To Zanarkand .

Here I’ll posting another video on jamming session with my bandmate. Considerably the recording just using a small camera, therefore the quality of the video not really good. The song that we played entitle as ‘Everytime I Die‘ from Children of Bodom (official site).

As usual, I spent my leisure time by youtube-ing to find some interesting videos. Cinta Hello Kitty, the song title was really unique because in Malaysia we hardly to find such a cute song title. In fact, this is my first time for me to hear such a special title. Without hesitated, I play the song and listen to her song. I was stunned, her voice was really beautiful. The way that she sang also didn’t have any chinese slang. The lyric was really simple, but make me heart throbbed. I think she can be more success as she has a full package of a singer, beautifulness and great voice.

Then, I do some search about her and found out that she was a singer for the Granado Espada MTV clip. Yeah, last time I was invited to play the Beta release of Grandano Espada. I received the CD and it’s contain the installation file as well as the MTV clip. Therefore, for me, it’s like a deja vu! How could I can’t recognised her when watching the Cinta Hello Kitty video clip..so, paisehh !!
