First Day At IPerintis

Demn it, kalau lift rosak, mampus nak menapak tangga

Arrive at HLA building to meet the human resource manager, as I am reporting to them for my first day of internship. After that, the person-in-charge escort Adi and I to the main office which is located at KLCC. I thought that I will be working at level 22, in fact we were going much higher up there, which is at level 59.

Both of us were assigned into Business Relationship Management Department, the leading person is Mr. Izwan. We had a chat with him, and he welcomed us to learn the major operation of IPerintis. After that, he asked us to meet our mentor, Adi was assigned to Mr. Zahari and he was transferred to Daya Bumi until early of June. While I was assigned to Mr. Sayid and still remain at the HQ.

First day, not much work to do, I am trying to adapt with the new environment, and I met with new friends, especially the people inside the same department. One of the guy is Mr. Ajay, very friendly and nice to chat with. The other person is, Mr. Adi Putra that in charge the IP Desktop.

Currently, I am wandering, how to make a report on my internship program to my course coordinator. I have no ideas about reporting, never mind, I will contact Mr.Rozaini later. As the time being, I will put the progress of my working experience there in this blog. Hope it will become a good experience to all of us.

What Happen To Our Interview Today? - Thanks For The Gift

This morning, Adi and I went to KLCC for a meet up with the senior manager of IPerintis (Petronas IT Vendor) for an interview session. As what we do expected, a typical formal interview must be equipped with a suit of Padini and tie, in which make me look very professional. We arrived there at 12, and I’m messaging the person-in-charge, Ms. Zalina from MDEC, surprisingly she told me to wait for her at Santini for a lunch break.

So, we wait there and until she called me, after that we proceed to our seat and wait for the top person of IPerintis. It was a very interesting conversation that we had with them, accompanied by 5 people from the company and a person from MDEC, I felt like I’m so small compared to them. Of course, all of them had the top position in the company, compare to me and adi, absolutely far away. Reminder, we are going for internship, and not even completing our degree.

So, within the conversation, the top guys asked us with some simple question yet tricky. He shared with us the experience of working in the company, compiling the ideas and more. He treated us the lunch, but since I am quite shy with the big boss, I only requested for a drink. Yeah, the first impression is merely important!

I would like to quote a sentence from him, which is very meaningful to me.

You guys are not ordinary intern, you are winning intern.So, my expectation on you is high.

It’s sounds cool ok! To be complimented by your future boss can motivate a person, and I’m one of them.
Eventually, we will begin our internship program this coming Monday at level 22, KLCC. I hope that everything will going smoothly, pray for the god to help me.

I am very happy today, as it’s occur on my 21th birthday. After came back from KLCC, I met my girlfriend, and surprisingly she gave me a present. (although I know already..haha) But, I felt being appreciated by her, because she knows what I want, and it is a set of leather purse and belt, I never got this type of present before, and I really love that. Thanks ayg, really love you damn much.

Kepenatan Melampaui Batas

Setelah berjaya aku menghilangkan diri dari dunia blog lebih kurang 2 minggu, akhirnya tergerak juga hati untuk updatekan juga. Hilang bukan sebarang hilang, hilang kerana exam yang bersusun bagaikan tiada henti. Aku sedang melalui peperiksaan semester, 8 subjek termasuk muet! Hari ini, aku sudah pun menyelesaikan 4 subjek dan muet, masih ada lagi 4 subjek iaitu research methodology, advance english, macroeconomic dan managerial communication.

Untuk beberapa hari ini, aku meninggalkan Dengkil dan menginap di hostel. Memikirkan soal kekerapan peperiksaan, aku membuat kesimpulan untuk tinggal sebentar di hostel agar lebih mudah untuk bergerak ke dewan peperiksaan tanpa perlu mengerakkan enjin kereta. Oh ya, aku bakal memulakan program internship tidak lama lagi, kemungkinan pada 26/5/08. Si dia sudah pun memberi warning agar aku tidak mengatal di tempat kerja, haha.

Aku tertarik dengan satu video di youtube, menggunakan keyboard untuk membuat effect guitar. Komposisi lagunya agak menarik,tetapi berulang-ulang. Namun, daya kreativiti lelaki ini memang bernas. Gerakkan cursor anda dan lihatlah kehebatannya.
