Last week, I went to the biggest event conducted by University Peer Group (UPG), Voices in conjunction with clickachild charity event. They were inviting some popular underground bands such as OAG, Meet Uncle Hussien, Bittersweet, Hujan, Yuna, and more. Of course, you could get the idea on the size of the crowd, approximately 4000+ youngsters filling every spaces in MMU grandhall.

As I am very fancy with underground bands, but since then I am not aware on Yuna. Once she step on the stage, her voice instantly capture my heart with her song, After Midnight. Her voice made myself freezing for a while, it keeps remind me at Norah Jones. While Norah Jones more on country genre, which is not very suited me. In fact, Yuna was great at choosing other genre that suit with my taste, playing her acoustic guitar with her sexy voice.

Yet, she need to improve on her showmanship, keep communicating with the audience, since I’m noticing that she seldom talk to us, I felt a little bit dull. After all, her beautiful songs cover up most of the weaknesses, and I’m stunned to her voice for a while.

She has a full package as a talented singer, with her pretty face and voice, I think she can go further. In fact, I am looking forward to her next performance.
