Merdeka + Kem = Merdekem Part 1

As all of you noticed, I’ve been disconnect myself from internet, blogging and porno..opss for almost 4 days. Well, Yayasan Telekom Malaysia(YTM) had invited me to attend the motivational camp at Politeknik Sultan Idris Sabak Bernam. Frankly, I think that Sabak Bernam was quite a lousy place for a happy go lucky hafreze. Instead, I nearly decided to skip the motivational camp, fortunately, my 4 other housemates were also selected to be the participant of the camp.

On Thursday morning, 30/8, all of us pack our stuff because we have to depart from Menara Telekom at 3PM. At 1 pm, two cars had arrived my house at Dengkil, which were owned by Haziq and Faidi. After all, we start our journey to Telekom Tower at 2.45PM and I lead the convoy. Actually, I very familiar with the journey to Telekom Tower, but when I entering the Jalan Pantai Dalam Baharu, I missed the entrance to Telekom Tower for twice, paiseh..paiseh

Basically, we’re the last participant that arrived at the Telekom Tower, instead the bus already move a bit and luckily some of the YTM assistant noticed us and ask the bus to wait for us. Then, we left the building to Sabak Bernam.

The journey begin

In the bus
I sat beside Faiz, a guy who was quite handsome. My other 3 housemates, Raja, Shah and Syahmi sat nearby me. We talked about Sabak Bernam, frankly about the condition at the camp. All of us had predicted that the camp would be really terrible since the Politeknik was far away in the oil palm farm. We even can imagine that the toilet would be really dirty, the food was sucks and may become a nightmare to all of us. Well, anybody that heard about Sabak Bernam will think so maaaa…

Most common sentences swearer by us:

  1. Mesti cam lahanat jerk Sabak Bernam
  2. Makan mesti cam haram
  3. Kompom takde awek cun…
  4. Bas ni apsal melantun-lantun
  5. Shit tol, mane nak beli rokok kat dalam hutan tu

Huh, don’t judge a place by it’s name. After 4 hours journey, we arrived at Politeknik Sultan Idris and was quite shocked with its condition. The building was new and got a lake in front of our hostel, HOTEL!!

Mamat poyo - Faiz
I love my sponsor, hahaha. All of us were assigned to the room, there were 3-4 pretty ladies worked as receptionist that celebrating our arrival. Somewhat, I felt like I was a celebrity. By the way, the condition was really different from what we thought, really-really different. Each room can accommodate 2 person and impressively, the room was equipped with aircond, TV, water heater, refrigerator as well as two comfort beds.

twin sharing room

I can’t believe that YTM would organized our seminar at this kind of place since the last time we already had a very bad experience with other camp. I think, YTM want to entertain us since we missed the 50th Merdeka celebration.

Tempat berendek
The surrounding at Politeknik Sultan Idris at night was calm. The lake in front of the Hospitality Department became the place where Raja, Faidi, Syahmi, Shah and I celebrate our Merdeka. Somewhat, this leisure trip had made us forgot about the enjoyment of Merdeka.

member-member

I stayed with Raja at room 2.15. We hanged our cloths, unpacked our stuff and get ready for the dinner. The first dinner that we had was Nasi Beriani Kari Ayam, quite sumptuous. Then, we made our move to the auditorium for the an introduction briefing. The talk was given by En. Ihsan, the YTM person in-charge. They brief us with the rules and regulations, the schedule of the seminars and gave us some free stuffs.

I like free stuff

Dah nampak kan?…burday present aku readykan
After the briefing, we made a move to our room for a rest. Part 2 will be continued tomorrow..

P/s: Faidi ajak aku pegi UM..hahaa..oh awek ropol2
