It seems around 5 days I didn’t update this blog. Why?..the internet connection at my place was bloody slow. That’s why I can’t login to blogger, check my mail and surfing other’s blogs. By the way, just a small update I want to share about.

From previous entry, I had mention about the release of the final examination result. Well, good thought, I’m getting 4 flat for this semester. I’m very delighted with my result and want to maintain this performance for next semester.

Update 28/2/07: I already changed my current blog domain from http://hafreze.blogspot.com to http://www.hafreze.com.

How to use Namecheap.com to configure your CNAME records.

I,ve been using Namecheap.com for almost 2 years and after all I very satisfied with their service. Eventually, Blogger Help didn’t list Namecheap.com as one of their common registras. So, it might give some difficulties to the webmaster to create the CNAME records.

For you information, you can get less USD1.00 when you use Namecheap discount coupon USD : ‘WCSSPECIAL and HAPPYNEWYEAR”

An example : a dot com price is usd8.99, so you can get usd7.99 when you apply this discount coupon.

The setup was quite easy.
Important : I skip the buying process, I think most of us should know how to buy the domain..

1. So, after you already buy the domain that you prefer, you’ll be redirected to ‘My Account’.
2. Search the domain that you had buy before, such as ‘hafreze.com’ . Then, you’ll enter the ‘Modify Domain’ page.
3. Under ‘Host Management’ section, find ‘All Host Records’ and click it.
4. Then, under ‘IP Adress/url’ section, you may enter the ‘ghs.google.com’ beside the sign ‘@’. After that, save it..voila..
5. Correction!! Then, under ‘IP Address/URL’ section, you have to enter the ghs.google.com beside the ‘www’ sign, not the ‘@’…after that, save it..
   
6. If not, then your blog url will be appeared as http://hafreze.com instead of common one ‘http://www.hafreze.com’…it’s a lot of different though..
7. And Important notice, in your blogger account, find ‘Setting >Publishing’, under your domain section, you have to type ‘www.yourdomain.com’..then click save.

Good news for designer or student that want to start a business project by selling your own custom made t-shirt because CustomInk.com give the all the interface needed. Based on my experience, I’ve been using this features to design the t-shirt for our business projects. Geni.com, a latest website that can build your family tree instantly without any hectic. The user interface look simple and easily navigate from one section to another section. The loading time also very fast, I think it most likely using Ajax technology for the development of this site(correct me if I’m not right).

When you navigate to the profile section, you will be identified a percentage box at the right side. This remind me about Linkedit.com, both of them using the percentage method in order to show the completion of your profile.

I already create the family tree and invite all my siblings, uncle/auntie and cousin to fill out their name and title. Surprise, within an hour, the family tree has expanding and this is a fun way to relate anybody that you recognize immediately. Try it!!

Update : This is my family tree. It’s really fun when you check your account after a few months, you’ll see your family tree growth.
